Our Story
Welcome to Dinner Church, where we gather around the table to share food, fellowship, and faith in the Episcopal tradition.

The Reverend Thomas Barron
Father Thomas Barron has served in Christian ministry for 25 years and currently lives in Augusta, Georgia. He holds a Master of Divinity and has a deep passion for building communities where grace, creativity, and diversity flourish. Over the years, he has founded two churches, including a unique expression of church known as Dinner Church, which began in 2018 in Grovetown, Georgia. Rooted in the belief that church and dinner naturally belong together, Father Thomas centers his ministry around the Holy Eucharist, hospitality, and shared story.
A lifelong lover of music, storytelling, and gardening, he brings an artistic and relational spirit to all he does. His joy is found in gathering people from all walks of life to form new communities where everyone has a seat at the table and where God's grace is shared freely and abundantly.
The Vision of Dinner Church
At Dinner Church, we seek to rediscover God's redeeming grace through ancient liturgies, shared meals, and worship. Radical hospitality centers our community and there's always room for you at God's table. In the parish hall at St. Augustine's, we gather weekly to break bread, share prayer, and build belonging through faithful presence and shared celebration.
