Finding Your Way

It's okay to feel uncertain arriving at a new place. We want to make it easier. Here's how to find us and what to expect when you do.

How to Get There

From Wheeler Road: Turn onto Regent Road and take the first right into the west parking lot.

You'll see a concrete sidewalk to the right of the red doors, running along the side of the building and beneath a covered walkway. Follow this path, with the garden on your left, toward the Parish Hall entrance straight ahead.

If you accidentally end up around the back of the building, that's okay too, but stairs are involved, so head back to the west lot if accessibility is a concern.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I park?

The west lot (off Regent Road) has minimal steps and a beautiful walk through the courtyard. It's our recommended entrance. Parking is also available to the north and east.

Which door do I use?

Use the entrance to the Parish Hall, located just past the courtyard. It's marked with signage during events. If you see the garden, you're in the right spot.

Is the space accessible?

Yes, our west-side entrance has no stairs and offers the smoothest access into the building. Let us know if you need further accommodation.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself. You're welcome to bring a dish if you'd like, but there's no pressure. The table is already set for you.

What time should I arrive?

Dinner Church begins at 6:30 PM. Arriving a few minutes early is welcome. We usually wrap up around 8:00 PM.

What happens at Dinner Church?

We share a meal, pray together, hear scripture, and celebrate communion. It's informal, thoughtful, and open to everyone; whether you're new to church or not sure what you believe.

Do I have to be a member?

No. Dinner Church is open to everyone. You don't need to be a member of St. Augustine's or of any church to participate fully.

Can kids come?

Absolutely. Children are always welcome at the table. We aim to create a space that's hospitable to all ages.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

We usually have vegetarian and allergy-friendly options available. Feel free to bring your own dish or let us know if you have specific needs.

Is this a regular worship service?

Yes, just not in pews. Dinner Church is sacred, but relaxed. It's patterned on early Christian gatherings, where communion and shared meals were one and the same.

How can I find out if it's happening this week?

Check the main page or fill out the contact form. Most weeks we're meeting, but we occasionally pause when necessary.
